Happy new year! I am still sorting through my intentions for the new year, but I know for sure that I am planning on being more intentional in 2017, especially with gratitude. One way for me to do that is through imagery. Connecting with what we see visually, for example through photography, keeps us rooted in the present moment, and mindfulness is the best way to practice gratitude.
If you join me on instagram, you might see me using hashtags now and again that correspond with the days of the week. I created them as a guide to see my world in a particular way this year. By the end of the year, I hope to see the story of gratitude unfold. Feel free to jump in and use them for your own practice.
#mindfulmonday - Post someone or something that you are particularly mindful about this week.
#thankfultuesday - A day to share with us how you give thanks to and for others.
#wordlesswednesday - An image can speak volumes. No caption necessary.
#thankfulthursday - Just like 30 Days of Gratitude, this day is intended to share something you are grateful for.
#florafaunafriday - Because we all need to reconnect with nature, this is to show us your natural world (even if it’s a house plant).
The descriptions will also be posted on the resources page or you can always jump over to my IG profile.
