There is a new show I've discovered called One Mississippi. The show is incredibly quirky and does deal with dark subjects, but the real reason I wanted to share it with you is because Tig is a fine example of someone who speaks her truth. She knows who she is, she shows up to the world as herself, and when confronted with people trying to change her, she uses a comedic approach. She has a gift for speaking her truth by shutting down the naysayers in a peaceful way. Her approach is authentic and I find myself wishing I were as brave as she.
You may not like the show, but Tig's character (which appears to be based on her real life) is worth studying. She isn't perfect, but she is real. I know I will certainly be taking notes.
Are you showing up brave and authentic in your life? What characters have moved you?
