One and half billion dollars is a lot of money. No, it’s an obscene amount of money. We don’t typically buy lottery tickets, but with the jackpot so high, cc bought one for us. Everyone was talking about it, including the boy that carried my groceries to the car. Even I started to dream about what I would do if I won the lottery.
There is no way I could ever use that much money so I would have given most of it away. I would pay off the taxes on it, and then…
Did you create your lottery list? What would you have done with all that money?
Good, now forget about the money (that you didn't win) and go do everything on that list. That’s a scary thought, but the truth is you can have all of it without winning the lottery. There is only one thing standing in your way of this kind of freedom and it isn’t money. It’s fear.
The odds of winning the recent jackpot were one in 292.2 million. Those odds made it easy for you to imagine your life with all that money because there is no fear that you would actually have to make it happen.
Why does the dream of financial security make you hopeful? Why can’t you have all of these things without winning the jackpot? Your mind, well your ego really, is trained to survive. It’s a fundamental instinct. And unless your true north self tells it otherwise, you believe it. Fear then drives your actions or paralyzes you into no action at all. Which leads me back to what you may already be feeling pre lottery drawing; stuck. There is a way to get out of the muck without a powerball ticket.
Try this. Take your list and ask yourself what has to change in order to make this a reality? Let your list be outrageous, but make it real. Quit your job, move to a new state or country. Now, just stop and notice your fears. Don’t sit in your fears and get your heart rate up. Just become an observer and note if are they justified? Do you know for certain they are true?
Take time; days, weeks, to move through your fears. Continuing to question them. Learning to work through fear is a life practice. It’s a choice that frees you from victimhood and supports an indigo life.
Then, once they start to unravel, make a small move. Follow that arrow in a new direction and take one small step. If you’ve always wanted to travel the world, go research and choose the first place you would travel. Research is free and with the intention set in the direction you want to go, you'll be surprised at how the money can manifest itself.
Everything is possible if you get out of your own way.
Since you didn't win the lottery what arrow will you follow?
