When gratitude becomes your default setting, life changes. - Nancy Leigh Demoss

All you need is love.  The infamous Beatles lyrics that leaves you with a sense of warm and fuzzy.  The truth is, those words couldn't be more true.  We are living in a world that is devoid of love and compassion and too often we end up carrying that weight around, creating dis-ease in our bodies.  The stress in our lives from work, family, and social obligations is getting the best of us.  We want more.  We want to be happy.

What if I said that you could have a rich, abundant, and
wild {RAW} life every day by simply changing your thoughts?

Crazy, right?  Believe it or not, it’s true, and it can be done with a gratitude practice.  By learning how to practice gratitude on a daily basis you can change your brain chemistry without having to add to the growing to do list.

How can gratitude benefit you?

Robert Emmons Ph.D., gratitude researcher at University of California, Berkeley, and his colleagues have studied more than one thousand people, from ages eight to eighty, and found that people who practice gratitude consistently report a host of benefits.

Stronger immune systems
Less bothered by aches and pains
Lower blood pressure
Exercise more and take better care of their health
Sleep longer and feel more refreshed upon waking

Higher levels of positive emotions
More alert, alive, and awake
More joy and pleasure
More optimism and happiness

ore helpful, generous, and compassionate
More forgiving
More outgoing
Feel less lonely and isolated.

Gratitude is an affirmation of all things good in your life.  A compilation of ordinary events, your personal attributes, and the people you value and that value you.  It is a social emotion so it is not a comparison of yourself to others, but rather, a deep appreciation for your support system that has guided you to where you are now.  Gratitude strengthens relationships.

Spark a change in your life.
